We use your email purely to create and access your account — nothing else. No marketing emails, no newsletters, no selling or sharing your data with advertisers. Fasting Buddy is a progress-tracking app and your information stays with your account.

1. What we collect

  • Account: your email and password (password is encrypted, we never see it).
  • Profile: name, age, gender, height, current and goal weight — only what you enter.
  • Activity: food logs, fasting sessions, weight entries and progress photos you save.
  • Referral: if you signed up through a friend's code, we link your accounts so we can apply the free-trial bonus.

2. How we use your email

Your email is used only to:

  • Sign you in and recover your account if you forget your password.
  • Send essential account messages (e.g. password reset).

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, promotional offers, or share your email with any third party for advertising.

3. How we use your other data

Everything else you enter (weight, food, fasting, photos) is used only to show your own progress back to you inside the app. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data.

4. Service providers

We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the app and database, and a payment processor (Stripe) if you upgrade to a paid plan. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy standards.

5. Cookies & tracking

We use the minimum cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

6. Your rights

You can view, edit or delete your data at any time from inside the app, or request full account deletion through the Contact page. When you delete your account, your profile, logs and photos are removed.

7. Children

Fasting Buddy is not intended for users under 13. If you are under 18, please use the app only with a parent or guardian's permission.

8. Changes

If we update this policy we will post the new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
